Koh Tao

Koh Tao – also called Turtle Island is one of Thailand’s most famous islands. Here you can both experience the best of the Thai nature and not least dive and snorkel in one of the best places in the country.

The water is beautiful and clear, and there are lots of corals and exciting fish in the sea. You may be lucky enough to experience whale sharks and turtles as well as a wide variety of tropical fish species. Koh Tao is a very popular island to dive on, which is why the island’s largest beach, Sairee Beach, is always filled with avid divers and people snorkeling. You have the opportunity to take a PADI diving certificate on Koh Tao at a lower price than at home in Denmark.

Koh Tao is a relatively small island along the east coast of Thailand and is close to the islands of Koh Phangan and Koh Samui. Koh Tao is located in the Gulf of Thailand approx. 85 km outside the city of Chumphon.

Koh Tao is an island that has a bit of everything. Whether you are a backpacker, diving enthusiast or a family looking for delicious and child-friendly beaches, Koh Tao is the perfect destination.
On the one hand, Koh Tao offers a lush jungle, crystal clear water and many opportunities to take on exciting and exotic excursions. Getting around the island is easy on either a scooter or by bike. On the other hand you will also find lots of delicious sandy beaches. A large number of these are both suitable for relaxing and enjoying the lovely water with a drink in hand, while others are quite obvious for diving.
