Centara Grand Beach Resort – the old Sofitel is a unique luxury resort with lots of history and good atmosphere. Centara Grand Beach Resort & amp; Villa, Hua Hin was built in 1923 and is Thailand’s very first hotel/resort. It was originally an old railway station, now rebuilt into this incredibly beautiful resort. It is a luxury hotel with a perfect location in central Hua Hin, right down from the beach. The garden appears like a beautiful park with bushes and trees shaped like elephants.

Centara has all the things a luxury hotel must have: fitness facilities, pool areas and children’s pools, tennis, windsurfing, spa/massage and transportation to the nearby golf courses.

Superior:
The rooms have undergone a careful renovation, with the original appearance taken into account. The rooms have beautiful wooden floors, air conditioning, ceiling fan, satellite TV, safe, minibar, telephone and a bathroom in a colonial style with bathtub and hairdryer. Also, a furnished balcony or terrace.

Deluxe:
Larger rooms with either a king size bed or two queen size beds for two adults and two children to stay in the same room. The room has the same facilities as the Superior room but larger bathroom with bathtub and shower as well as a larger balcony or terrace.

Deluxe Pool Villa:
If you really want to pamper yourself, this is the place. The bathroom is with separate shower, there is a large room with a huge double bed, TV and daily surprises. There is also a large private terrace garden with its own swimming pool and clawfoot tub.

The area has a restaurant, lounge and swimming pool only for the villa guests.
For guests in the villas, there is free coffee/tea and snacks between 10 am and 3 pm, free internet access in the business center, high tea at noon, cocktails before dinner, international newspaper of your choice and two pieces of laundry done daily.
